On one hand you are being instigated, on the other hand you are judging other's ideas on what kind of ideas you can bring forward. What this idea is good for, what is it bad for. What is this idea's value? What is not this idea's value. This judgement forms a nature of trial in you about discerning ideas.

Pre-finally there is this concept of summarizing. Once you start judging ideas, you have to summarize them in your mind as to what it was. You also start posting ideas which are a summarized version of your mental context where the idea lives. You summarize other's ideas and you summarize your ideas as well.

The last part is solving which automatically starts happening because ideas are made for solving problems. You can't just post ideas which are not solving problems. Here is where time and exercise is needed to get better at ideation and with time people will get better at solving problems.
